Cleo Wade is a New York-based poet, artist, activist and storyteller and author of upcoming book Heart Talk. Cleo has created large scale public art installations across the country and contributes regularly to W Magazine and Teen Vogue. A passionate public speaker, Cleo has been invited to speak at TED Women (debuting November 2017) and the 2018 SXSW. She has given speeches at New York University, Columbia University, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Essence Music Festival, MLK Now at the Historic Riverside Church in Harlem, Cooper Union, the Semi Permanent conference in New Zealand and Saint Heron’s Roll Back Say That event in New Orleans.
